No opinion on the CG P40, but I can tell you that you would love working with the Griot's creams.

Meg's UP works very well, but it is a PITA to remove.

what pad would you use for the polish? i have the whole range i think of foam griot's pads. This is what i have.

I will do a few test spots. I believe the polish is labeled at 2500 grit sand marks.

chemical guys stuff, i was coming to try the correcting pad first.

Yeah, like I posted above...... No experience with the CG P40.

But, try the least aggressive pad you have first. Best practice.

Hi foks, 3 days in, i used the polishing pad with CC p40 - it really dried up. its crap.

But my question is why i did'nt see the iron remover change colour? both carpro and sonax products. wheels and panels.

btw lots of you folks seem to be concerned with hot weather - i live on the coast - its been 10-12C in the afternoons here for the last 3 days - with overcast.

Has anyone ever heated a bottle of polish in warm water?

So around 50 degrees F? Yeah, I have never tried to polish in that low of a temperature.

50 sounds like the dream to work in, honestly. When I miss the window in MD where it’s in the 50-60s to do anything intensive to my car my motivation just goes way down. It’s just so dang hot and humid, and I’m not really into it at all.

I can get what you are saying, Fin bone.

But where I live, 50 degrees usually means that 50 is the "high". That means it more than likely 45 for the bulk of the day. (Late March stuff here.....)

Out of the sun, the paint feels like an ice cube to me.
