Re: Sealant product recommendation: Looking for durability, longevity, hydrophobic properties, appearance, and ease of application
Sonax gets a vote from me as well. PNS, topped with BSD every other wash. I've never used anything as hydrophobic as these. But.... application is not slick and easy. It tends to be a little grabby, but WELL WORTH IT!

•At this time, I’ll just direct my attention to
two of the characteristics of FK1000P that
I believe causes its overall performance to
eclipse that of Collinite #476.
************************************
•Being that FK1000P was originally formulated
for the Molding Industry...
1.) it has a very high “melting point”—able to
withstand temperatures up to 300°F.
2.) it is, actually/factually: layer-able.
•Once FK1000P’s film layer(s) have totally
cured [~6-12 hours...(YMMV)] it’s the com-
bination of those two formulation “quirks”
that gives FK1000P its preeminent aura of
long-lasting/durable Protection, IMO.

Bob,
Is there any tricks to removing the FK1000p off of rubber trim if and when it gets on it? Thats one thing that has me scared to use this on my paint...

You can either tape off your trim, or be VERY careful around it.
Otherwise, and because we are all human, a wax remover and complementary brush will do the trick.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.
