Nothing like this has ever come to me so I don't have any real-world experience and thus I don't have any real-world advice.

A part of me thinks that "some" of the people, that are the type of people that would Plasti-Dip their car are NOT the kind of people that enjoy actual "detailing" of a car.

    Just sayin....

Lots of folks use Plasti-Dip to change wheel color (including our own Sizzle Chest). For wheels it is recommended to stay away from harsh wheel cleaners, but for the paint anything mild should work.

I clean with soap and water and then use a tire shine on it. It doesn’t make it glossy, obviously, but gives it a deeper satin hue.....

    •I go with car-wash shampoos that don’t
contain stuff such as Waxes; gloss enhance-
    ers; etc.

-For me: car-wash shampoos like Meguiars
    Hyper-Wash fits that bill.
Meguiars Hyper-Wash is a concetrated car wash for frequent or professional detailing. Super foaming, long lasting car shampoo from Meguiars.

-So does my current supply of Meguiar’s
D114, but it may not be readily available
for others. (But McKee’s N-914 is.)
