    can't really describe it.

It left a bright Collinite finish, easily
contrasted to D156, or D115 at 4:1 ratio.
Those both darken the paint and change
    the Collinite look.

If you like the look of 845, this will match
it almost perfectly. Anxious to see how it
    beads/sheets.

Certainly a nice product, will update after
    some water is involved.

Collinite QD, but was cleaned 48 hours
before with Meguiars D115 mixed at a

    had water spotting.

While both feel both surfaces don't feel
clean, it certainly got rid of the water.

Promising, especially when you figure the
last time the car had any real protection
applied was Collinite 476 in early November
2018. Since then it has either been D156,
D115, Sonax BSD, or Megs UFF (for the
record, UFF has not ever been effective for
    me).

I couldn't help but notice the areas that
had been WW with D115 were beading
and sheeting water like a fresh wax job.

The hood and the trunk with Collinite 520 on
(which had been treated with D115 the same
time the rest of the car had been about 48 hours
before the Collinite 520 was used) was far worse
with water behavior. The trunk lid especially was
not beading at all, nor was it moving water.
The hood was a little better with water sheeting,
    but limited beading.

I proceeded to wash the car with Duragloss
car wash. This had no effect on the rest of
    the car/D115 as nothing diminished.
It did bring back the Collinite 520 hood a little,
beading returned, but was not small spherical
type of droplets like we have all come to know
with Collinite. The beads were oblong, reminded
me of the look when your wax/sealant is full of
    contaminants. Water sheeting was present,
    but very, very slow.

Now keep in mind, the car needs clayed, the
paint cleaned and a fresh coat of wax/sealant.

With that said, it didn't seem to effect the
D115 at all. Maybe the D115 interfered with
the Collinite 520 adhering. Who knows. I'll try
it again after my next full detail (decon, paint
cleaned, fresh wax/sealant), hope to get to it
    in early June.

    Re: New Collinite quick detailer

Received mine yesterday. Followed the instructions to clean half the hood of my black Ford. After wiping and letting it sit, I honestly could not tell the difference. I found NO extra shine, slickness, or anything that indicates I used product on it. A second coat also did nothing. Next I started spraying different things and what I noticed is that 520 does a decent job of cleaning things like the bugs off my tow mirrors-- that really surprised me. The solution smells a lot like Windex, I wonder if 520 is actually more of a cleaner than traditional detail spray. I doubt I will use it much in the future.
