    Exhaust tips

I have a nice Corvette to do for a friend. Complete detail and Carpro paint coating. I remember reading on here where someone was using P21S soap and steel wool. I don't have the P21S and don't know if I can get it locally and I am starting today. Any other good options that anyone uses? I have lots of billet and chrome polishes.

You can make it easier on yourself and cut the time it takes to clean the insides by using the metal polish with the steel wool. Otherwise you might be there for awhile depending on how long it’s been since they’ve been polished.

    It’ll take you from this:

To this. In much less time.

Bob...who makes the cone that's on your drill?

Or better yet---where can I get one?

I actually do it a much easier way... I just spray exhaust tips with Brown Royal Wheel Cleaner and let it dwell while I’m cleaning the wheels and come back and give them a quik scrub with my wheel brush and all the crud cleans right off. Any further polishing is just icing on the cake, but once the crud is off it’s easy.

    -Exhaust tips[including the insides]
    -Wheel barrels
    -Wheel wells
    -Exterior trim
    -Windshield cowl

It’s things like this that stand out if and when I happen to see a car at the gas station or driving on alongside the street that I can immediately tell it’s been professionally detailed... I’ve actually run into vehicles I’ve detailed numerous times and I always notice the detail seconds before I recognize the car! Lol. It’s a good feeling to see a perfect looking vehicle driving along and knowing you’re the 1 who made it look so good.Exhaust tips
