    Shelf life??

I have Megs Hyper Dressing, 140 Wheel Brightener in the
gallon size that have not been opened.
I bought them the summer of ‘16.
What is the shelf life of these products??
They are stored in the basement.
    Thanks

    Re: Shelf life??

2-3 years is the usual shelf life of detailing products but can be longer or shorter depending on where they are stored, temps, and the product itself. since it hasn't been opened it, it should be fine. if it looks the same as the day you bought it and there isn't any noticeable differences (color, consistency, etc.) then you're good to go. it's a good idea to give detailing products (more so with the thicker ones) a good shake about once a month or so...

Most products I’ve researched (bout) will give 1-2 shelf life open/close. Been told by couple that is to be conservative so IF it only last that long, your not upset. But folllow above info and your good

    Re: Shelf life??

I'm going on 3 years for some of my products.

I do however, always store them in my house at a controlled temperature. (65-72 degrees)

I think it depends on the product, waxes can separate easier and are affected by temperature compared to polymers.
