Superglue on paint
Yep. Got a little spot on my paint. Tried a little goo gone but didn’t really do much.
Just had gtechniq applied and am not sure the best path forward.
Ideas? Thanks

Nitromethane [a fuel used in radio-controlled
(RC) cars, planes, etc.] is also an excellent
solvent/remover for/of “Super Glue” products.

And you can pour the excess into your Top Fuel dragster.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

I think they are getting upward of 10,000 horsepower out of those engines now. Mind blowing.
To the OP: It may take a little patience, and a plastic razor blade. But a solvent such as 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover might be your answer.

Superglue is a cyanoacrylate based adhesive. I once had an accident and caused superglue to spill all over my hands and get glued to the item I was trying to fix. Nail polish remover, acetone saved me haha.
I've removed superglue from a vehicle before using acetone, dipping a Qtip and wiping it off. This was on a newer vehicle 05, so please test on a small inconspicous area to ensure acetone does not damage your paint.

Trying to remove “Super Glue” from car
paint can be worrisome, to say the least.

If you’re going to be using “nitro” to remove
the “Super Glue”...you’ll probably want an żair

I made 5 videos with Dan McCool from Dr. Color Chip. I don't remember which video it was but in one of them he shared that you can remove "other companies" touch-up paint with Acetone in order to redo the rock chip repair using Dr. Color Chip. Because I have experience using Acetone in the fiberglass industry, I know exactly how hot this solvent is, so I keyed in when he said it was safe to use on FACTORY clearcoats.
Even so - just pour a little on a piece of cloth and DAB it onto the Super Glue until you soften it and remove it.
Also wear nitrile gloves, Acetone is nasty stuff.
