Question Oxidized ABS Chromed Grille Insert

I have a 2015 Nissan Frontier that has an ABS Chrome grille insert I am trying clean up. What is recommended? I tried a little bit of M205 and it did nothing in improving the look of the chrome. I really don't want to experiment any further so figured I would post here. Thanks.
    Regards,

Re: Oxidized ABS Chromed Grille Insert

My favorite cleaner for both paint and trim is DuraGloss 501. I use it on chromed plastics with great results.

It's listed as a "Marine/RV" product but works on everything for me. Just my opinion and experience.

Re: Oxidized ABS Chromed Grille Insert

•ABS Chrome shouldn’t be subjected to
    compounds/polishes that contain
    aggressive-types of abrasives.
-They’ll wind up be damaging to the
very thin plating. Only “fix” at that
    point is replacement of component(s).

•That’s why I only occasionally will use
    Cleaner-Waxes/Sealants (AIOs) to clean
‘em up—Klasse AIO is just one example—
followed-up with a good spray wax, like
Optimum Spray Wax, after each carwash.

    •Another option is:
-Mothers Ultimate Wax System. It contains
    everything needed for maintaining chrome
cladded ABS—an “all in one”, easy to figure
    out, synchronization of products; Synergistic
    as all get out!
