P21S polishing soap
Have plenty of soap left but the sponge is pretty used up/falling apart. What’s a good alternative to use in place of the sponge? Or can I buy a replacement sponge?

Re: P21S polishing soap
I tried a piece of bug scrubber foam block but it is noticeably stiffer than the P21S one. I was thinking one of the Turf Shine orange applicators. If you sliced it into maybe 3 pieces like a loaf of bread. They would be a good size to work with on exhaust pipes. They are pretty tough but don't have the large pores of the P21S sponge.

I have used an old cutting foam buffing pad that I cut up with good results.

I'm with Dr. Olds (Jim)...an old white LC pad that's been retired but cleaned thoroughly. I also use old pads, cut 'em up and use them for tire dressings.
I know...I'm cheap!

I’m cheap too. I was thinking old pads. Thanks guys. Also thought about those “bug sponges” that are covered in cloth and textured.

That Lake Country sponge looks like a really good replacement.

Re: P21S polishing soap
Make me mad to see the prices Lake Country is charging for a fricking sponge! That thing probably cost them 5 cents to make and they sell it for 8$!
Just use what every sponge you want, I really doubt the sponge will make much difference. I would try to use a dollar store sponge and see how it goes.

Re: P21S polishing soap
Update: used those cloth covered/textured bug sponges and it worked perfectly. Much more durable. That what is offered from P21S.
