i use this. Can order in several sizes doesn’t soak up product. Durable and easy to rinse.

Literally do the same thing right down to using leftover cedar fence :-)

that's why I bought the Dr. Beasley gel. but there's to many lines & groves in the side walls(both on my truck & car). so when i smear that stuff on it either cakes up in the groves or it doesn't get in at all. so then I'll use a brush & then that gel is all over the place. the gel's don't come off the rims to easy either. where the spray on stuff wipes right off. If I'm spraying the tires & heading out I'll use an old rag to wipe them first.

yeah I guess, but I was wanting to clean the inside wheel wells anyway. I'll be hitting 70 in a couple of months & getting in & out is challenging. these wheels are a beast to clean.
