Aviation Windows - Plexiglass
Hey everyone, I'm buffing plexiglass on airplane Windows right now and I'm having trouble removing fine swirl marks. I'm using Novus plastic compound and plastic polish. I'm working with the Griots Garage 6-inch orbital and Lake County pads.
I began the process off by using a 6-inch microfiber pad with the plastic compound. I followed up with a heavy polishing pad with the compound on it as well. I then moved to the Polish with a standard green polishing pad. I'm getting very fine Swirls and I have an inkling that they are from the buffer. Are there any tips to help reduce the so I can polish the glass to near Perfection again?
The Facebook group has so far suggested finishing off with the polish and a black wax/sealant pad.
