    Carpro PERL and Leather

Anyone ever try Carpro PERL with Leather? Just found out it works on it and was wondering if it's similar in effect to Gyeon Leather coat.

Have a bottle of PERL lying around so figured if it works safely on leather and similar to leather coat, I'd give it a try.

The L in the name is for leather so the product is designed for that. But I've never tried using it on leather. Or anything other than tire. I just think it may end up sticky or glossy and I don't want that. I works great on the tires though.

As much as I like PERL I really don't want to sit on it. I also strongly prefer the smell of leather cleaner/conditioners to PERL for the inside.

For the tires though, PERL is my favorite with silk shine a close second. I like cutting them w water for the matte clean look.

The acronym is Plastic, Engine, Rubber, Leather?

It works fine on Leather. Does not feel sticky or anything like that once it’s leveled out and any excess is buffed off. Had no issues when I tried it. It does darken the leather from what I recall.

Give it a try and see if you like it.

Gyeon Leather Coat in my experience is better in that it attracts less dirt in between cleanings. Also goes on matte so no noticeable change in appearance.

I have used it 1:5 on leather and then buffed and it seemed to work well. Full strength it was a bit too dark for me.
