How to remove Texas/New Mexican dust in Wisconsin?
So, I couldn’t figure out why my car had this sandy colored, pollen looking substance on it today.
The “bomb cyclone” brought New Mexican and Texas dust all the way to Wisconsin. Crazy!

It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Our snow in Colorado had a brown coloring to it also yesterday.

So that's what is all over my truck. Come out to leave work and it looked like it was in a dust storm. and parking lot was wet from rain and melting snow

I had no idea. Wow.
Some of the worst dust storms during the dust bowl era made it from the plains to the east coast. Nature is amazingly powerful.

Let’s hope the Yellowstone super volcano never erupts. I’m not worried about survival. Bigger worry, how to protect my car’s finish from inches of ash and all the contamination on the clear coat

These "land cyclones" seem relatively new. I remember when the weather systems moved west to east.

By the looks of that color, I would guess that is dust from the desert regions of southwestern states. If was from Texas you would have a nice shade of yellow from all our southern pines busting out the annual spring pollen. It really gets on everything that is outside, even for a short time.
Thankfully water is the cure,
