Re: Flagged tipped brush & Duragloss #253

I use the same brush as recommended by Eldorado2k, but I now use one of those beauty supply spray bottles to load the brush, instead of a standard pump sprayer. They pump a super-fine mist and one spray will do a car tire without any dripping of the dressing.

One of those flairsol (May have spelled wrong) bottles? Do you spray into the brush or the tire?

Yes, the Flairsol sprayers. You can spray directly on the tire and just walk away, but I find I'm most accurate by spraying on the brush and applying. No dripping on the tire that way.

Mines a bit older and spills oil too. It’s due to a flawed oil pan seal I never had replaced since I first had the car.

It’s part of the built in Cadillac technicians job security for these cars to leak oil. They quoted me $1,800 dollars to fix the leak and they ain’t gettin it. Lol

Holy crap! I wonder what mine would be. For that, I’ll just add oil if needed.

At the very least they would need to jack the engine up. Just so they could drop the pan and pull the gasket. Plus the exhaust and all the components.
