Re: Honda Accord
Detail Rookie...I'M JEALOUS! (come on out to Chicago, I need to drive one) I love that color and as a member of AG your going to make that color look amazing! The only thing I'd change on the car is have the Touring rims instead of the Sport wheels. I say this because I'm not a fan of gloss black and the Touring wheels are the same but in silver, but I digress.
Congrats on the future new ride and can't wait to see it come along to be the nicest one around!

Re: Honda Accord
As you know it’s probably soft paint. Which means if the dealer washed it you’ll find many swirls and rids. But it’s easy to correct. Enjoy, I keep hearing good things about this newest Accord.

Thank you! I actually went to buy a CR-V and saw this and fell in love!
I already have a plan for it when I get it on Tuesday or Wednesday. Come on over to Raleigh and you can drive it all you want!
I agree, the wheels are going to be a serious pain to maintain and they might be swapped out in the future, but for now I will have to deal with them.

Thank you for that. I have already told them not to put any protection on the paint and not even to wash it!
They tried to sell me on a product called " Resistall" and it is supposed to be a ceramic coating for interior and exterior for $899. I laughed and said I'll take my chances without it lol.

Wow, that car is awesome!
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Re: Honda Accord
Car with soft paint like Hondas are the ones that benefit from ceramic coating the most. If I were you I would get the paint perfected then coated.

Re: Honda Accord
I have a silver 2.0T manual that I purchased last year. There were zero swirls on the paint to boot!!!! Light polish and I coated the horizontals with Opti-Coat, used Blackfire Crystal Coat sealant on the vertical panels because someone took some paint off after I had it for a week or so. Once that's done I'll coat the verticals and be done with it for awhile.
Compared to my 2015 VW CC 2.0T Manual, this was a step up in features and space.
