    Gyeon cancoat as topper?

I am thinking about trying gyeon pure, one layer coating and then topper.
Trying to make coating process little simpler by reducing "layering" process.

Is gyeon cancoat meant to be topper or stand alone?
as topper I was also looking at booster, but cancoat is much cheaper product with easy application
and can coat more cars or booster would be still a better choice?

I have PURE on my Infiniti and like it. It's equal in performance to what I'm seeing from Cquartz UK 3. I have mine topped with Skin from Syncro Kits that I've used and have extra from. I have however topped some areas of it with CanCoat as I've had to polish out some skuffs and what not. Works fine.

Can't comment on how it compares with Booster but I will say that CanCoat has amazing hydrophobic peformance and come spring it will likely be what I top off my wife's car with as it has Syncro on it and while it's doing fine, I will decontaminate and top it off come spring and CanCoat is what I'm likely going to use.

CanCoat is a great topper; Mohs + CanCoat is a great combo. Booster is a different kinda thing, not so much a topper as something that integrates with the base coating, altering it's properties.

    From Gyeon re: Booster
    Q2 Booster
    - is a fluorine-based top coat
    - designed to be used on top of Q2 Mohs
    - reacts with the base coat (Mohs) changing its surface tension and repellency
    - repellency: super hydrophobic
    - slickness: lower than Q2 Skin, but still very high.
    - resistance: full chemical resistance
    - gloss: more shine than gloss.

I'd imaging Booster would work fine with Pure as well, as would CanCoat.

I've used CanCoat on top of Mohs, One and Prime and it added longevity, a bit of candy gloss and increased water behavior as well. Heck, I put CanCoat on top of 1-year old Gtechniq CSL as it was not doing very well as far as self cleaning and it turned out to be a great combo.

CanCoat = great stuff. With all the 'spray coatings' comning out lately, many claiming to be "A revolutionary, first prodcut of its kind..." they all seem to forget the original, CanCoat, which has proven itself time and time again. Everything old is new again?

The layering process (Habit Loop?) is one tough
cycle to overcome: I personally know that it’s
    hard going “cold turkey”.

It’s good to see that, instead of going cold turkey,
you’re first wanting to set some limits. This is a
basic (and fair) step—but you gotta stick to it!

    •IMO:
    -CanCoat handily meets that setting-of-limits
criteria, at least as it pertains to the “layering”
reduction goal you seem to have set for yourself,
    at this point in time.

I would add that I've yet to find one of the latest spray on coatings that have the water behavior / hydrophobic property of CanCoat.
