please advise on removing sealant / wax

I was looking at a video where the guy was stripping the sealant. He was using car pro eraser & it was a Ferrari.

Are you sure he wasn’t really using isopropyl alcohol? Lol. J/k

I use mother's pure polish "step 1". It is a good cleaner and light polish. Makes paint squeaky clean.

Doesn't work, nor does the McKee strip wash one .these were the two most recent ones I tested.

Try using Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer. That is what it is designed to do, strip old sealants, waxes etc and prep for new coating!

The Wolfgang PP leaves behind oils, not sufficient for applying a coating right after without first removing the oils. Most sealants and waxes can be applied right after.

That seems a bit too scientific to be real...

And how do you explain beading completely going away after I claybar the paint? Clay doesn’t leave any surfactants. And the D114 I use as claylube usually revives any hidden beading.

Clay obviously changes the surface tension , beading is a byproduct of surface tension/contact angle

D114 most likely uses some form of polymer to make panel bead again.

You can apply pledge to your paint to make things bead...
Beading isn't a good identification for protection.

To strip protection, you either need abraisives or a chemical reaction.
My tests/ FB live videos I've done only showed a chemical reaction with acid, and nothing else.

D114 doesn’t contain any polymers. It’s about as pure as a cleaning liquid can get. That’s why it can be used as a panel wipe and is also body shop safe. D114 Brings beading back by removing any chemicals, conditioners, polishing oils, etc that may be masking/clogging up the paint for lack of a better word. But D114 doesn’t bead on its own.

Claying is mechanical decontamination and IMO that qualifies as a form of abrasive.
