    Carpro triple threat

So anyone do essence, then essence+ and then finish with reload?? Wondering what your durability was like?

    Good question.

I’m guessing it’d be super glosstastic but as for durability I dunno. I guess it would be hard to determine which product is providing protection at what time but in total so to speak - I honestly couldn’t tell you about the ‘triple threat’ combination but I have done either Essence & Reload or Essence+ & Reload on many occasions & with just the two, I’d say durability is fair for both combos.

We don’t get the extreme colds that you guys can get in parts of the US of A but we do have a very harsh environment on vehicles for a number of reasons. 8 to 12 weeks is about the limit here for what I have observed with either combination before showing signs of no performance.

New Zealand generally has a really high UV Index.

    Re: Carpro triple threat

I've applied Essence and then Essence+ to several cars. I'd say that you can get about 10 months out of it. I have had several cars come back at the 10 to 12 month range and they are still beading. These are people that do not apply any toppers, they just wash the car. They have been very pleased with it and 2 people asked to put whatever I put on last time again. I haven't had Reload for a while so I didn't top them at detail time. I don't understand why no one is willing to try Essence then Essence+. Everyone's tests are always one or the other and reload. Essence+ to made to bond on top of a coating which Essence primer essentially is. I'm convinced it bonds better to Essence primer better than bare paint.

    Yes indeed.

Apologies for delay in replying & I really should have described the conditions/situation better but work got in the way.

Like Mantilgh said - New Zealand has a high UV index, actually the highest worldwide because the hole in the Ozone Layer is above our little country. That plus other conditions like dust, because most of NZ is relatively ‘rural’ or our ‘dirty’ roads (we don’t have the super clean roads that I saw in America) salt air from much of NZ being populated near the coast & we’ll, we can actually have Four Seasons in one day.

Add that to my test vehicle (daily driver) being an outside car 24/7 & although I’d like to care more, it is fairly neglected.

I guess durability is hard to gauge too, like Coatings, the properties displayed change over time but doesn’t mean they’re not there & not doing their thing. In my case in this situation, the combinations referred too certainly behaved like they were no longer performing . . . But possibly were. Tough one & hence my ‘good question’ comment.
