IDA Chemical Exam
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I've passed all the other IDA certification exams first go round, except for Chemicals, I'm coming up on my 5th attempt and for the life of me I cannot figure out where I am going wrong. Since there is no study guide, does anyone have any guidance so I can make my 5th attempt the last one?

Re: IDA Chemical Exam
Common problem.
I think the answers are based upon the assumption most or any experienced detailer would possess this knowledge.
I think I struggled with it too...
Most of the questions I thought were difficult had to do with knowing about pH levels and appropriate products to use or not to use for certain surfaces.
I wish I had a great suggestion but I don't.

Re: IDA Chemical Exam
Thanks Mike, yeah some of the true/false pH questions can technically be both given the question's wording and the one dealing with dilution is also tripping me up, 99.9% of what I deal with has to be diluted, but I do know of at least one or two products that you do not dilute and since the question is worded as a definite it's confusing.

Re: IDA Chemical Exam
That was the first one I was going to take tonight now that my tests are all unlocked. I'm intrigued to see how much science and paint knowledge comes in to play.
