    Thanks everyone for the replies!

I have a few different compounds I'm going to try next.

It got rid of the wiper trails, but now I’ve got wiper chatter. Ugh if it’s not 1 thing it’s another.Polishing glass question

I conditioned my wiper blades with 304 Protectant a couple of weeks ago and it had been doing good. I’ll have to see what I can try next to fix this chatter because now my wipers won’t get the glass perfectly dry.

I find McKee glass coating the best out there for performance and no chatter.

I found no good results ever when treating blades. Best thing I've ever found is replacing the blades and coating the glass . Once done I dont mess with either.

Soft99 makes something that you put on blades to stop chatter. I heard about it on Detailing World. I believe it’s sold on Amazon and/or EBay. I’ve also heard graphite will stop it.

    Re: Polishing glass question

I gave the Buick's windshield the full treatment. I used the Griots glass care system with polish and sealant. I realize that the polish is a fine polish and will not remove everything but it did diminish some wiper rash.

Is the chatter in both directions?

It’s only on the downward stroke, which prevents it from being able to leave the windshield dry.

It’s so annoying that just now I was driving in the rain and did my best to drive without the wipers on...

    Thanks for the reply!

    Look good.

Is this the kit you used Griot's Garage Glass Polishing System

Which polisher did you use? Beside my rotary I have the first generation Porter Cable 7424. In which I don't think it would be effective on polishing a windshield.

I had the same issue, wipers chattering on the downwards movement. I tried 303 wipers treatment, IPA to clean the wipers. Nothing works, so I had to buy a new pair wipers.
