Has anybody tried any of the other spray on rinse off sealants as a drying aid like Megs HCW has you apply for the first time? I know there’s a forum member who makes a Merlin Elixer with 2oz of Hydro2 added into the mixture and uses as a drying aid or detail spray. I prefer to use drying aids on the paint and these rinse off sealants on the wheels where I feel personally they really excel.
I only ask since there seems to be some speculation as to the silica content in here while the competition seems to be pretty well documented on it contents as far as I’m aware. I think I’ll try this with my Hydro Blue and WetCoat once the weather gets better here in Illinois. I can’t wait for a string of snow free 40+ degree days to get here!

I think a few posts back or somewhere, someone was doing 8 parts water to 1 part HCW.
