Griots black shine AEROSOL tire dressings.
They make 2 versions. The regular and satin finish. Just looking for some strong feedback on them. I never till this day used a aerosol tire dressing that did not sling all over the paint. Are the any different? I had a can of regular in my hand today at the local Auto Zone, but decided to pass until I get some feedback. And lastly, any difference you see between the two?

I love Griots products and it didn’t disappoint in the longevity department but wasn’t my cup of tea. I found it to be to sticky and hard to wipe off any over spray. I’m sticking with either a nicely cleaned undressed tire or 303 tire balm.

Hmm. The last time you asked for a dressing for aggressive tires I gave you a very recent example of my Trail Grapplers with before and after with GG Satin aerosol. Maybe you didn’t see it.
Moving on, it is a little shiny for the first few days, then settles down to a strong satin. It sprays well, covers well and lasts about 3-4 weeks on my tires. One little trick I do is after I apply it, to around each tire with my Metro Sidekick and make sure it’s leveled and pushed out of all the nooks and crannies.

I tired the Black Shine Trim and Trim, and didn't care for it. Slings. If I'm going with an aerosol (which I'll only use on my Ram, and not the Viper tires) I just use Stoner's.

I did revisit that post. The satin did indeed make your tires look great! Guess drying them with the sidekick helped out.

I’ve used both sheen versions and like them for larger tire vehicle like trucks and SUV’s where applying a gel isn’t so easy. The products last a while and the high shine sheen does stay a little on the tacky side - doesn’t completely dry IME. The satin seen does dry well and offers the look I prefer - the high shine is just that - HIGH shine. Good products - but more importantly make sure your rubber is thoroughly clean before applying.

Big fan of the Satin....looks a little shiner than satin at first, but settles down nicely. I'm getting about 3 weeks out of a single coat

I guess I’ve been lucky and have never experienced “sling”. I most recently used CarPro Perl and it was dry to the touch quickly. Which tire products do you find that “sling”? Are you applying it too thick? Try wiping the excess off with a microfiber or just apply thinner coats.

Can’t really wipe tires like this with a MF. Spraying from a can or through an air compressor has worked best IME.
