Re: Feel like I was duped here with detailing and ceramic coating

I spoke with him again as he called me. He said that he has the paint perfect. He also said he’d like to provide the additional layer of 9H ceramic coating to the vehicle. He said he got the paint beautiful and that there was no marring of the paint at all. I’m taking him on his word and told him i appreciated the additional coating. He seems genuinely sorry so I guess I’ll see how the vehicle looks tomorrow when i pick it up.

Isn't 9H the claim CeramicPro uses for all their coatings? I have never known a happy Ceramic Pro customer.... Just my .02

Mine was just the base level or “light level” of the coating. Maybe it’s just marketing nonsense but he’s doing it for free and as long as it looks good that’s all I care about.

He's not doing it for free, you paid him $1700.00. And he wasted your time by you having to deal with his poor customer service. By that I mean, do it right the first time. Based upon the pictures you posted he never touched your vehicle. Hopefully he gets it right since he had to correct his poor performance first time out.

He must have quite the crew working on that SUV to have it perfect and ready by tomorrow. Especially with two layers of a coating and cured.

This dude knows it. For 1700 I’d expect someone to be touching it for 3 days and it to be in the shop for a week.

Watch him fluff it up again.

Well I guess we’ll see tomorrow. If it’s not right I’m not sure what I’ll do. I don’t think I’m out of line having him put a light on it to see how it looks and hopefully I don’t have to have another tough conversation with him.

Was that guy in the picture the "owner"? Or was it the owner taking a picture of the guy working on it?
