Winter time rinse less wash post
First time doing a rinse less was today, incredibly impressed!! Used ONR, pretreated with a spray bottle let dwell then went panel by panel. So my question, could I do a paint correction using ONR? Main question, can I use Iron X and then use ONR to rinse it away? ONR by John Wilkinson, on FlickrONR by John Wilkinson, on Flickr

Re: Winter time rinse less wash post
When using an Iron product, you want to make sure you really get all of it off the vehicle, and secondly it's not a product you want to use inside your garage. As temps drop, you also don't want product freezing on the vehicle.
IMO, I save Decon/Clay & polishing for the major detail event when I know I'll have full access to running water. But yes, you can clean a car with ONR, clay and polish... Mike does it all the time, especially on classic cars or vehicles where you don't want to introduce a steady stream of water...

As you develop and perfect your rinseless technique, you will almost always want to go rinseless. In the winter time as the vehicle collects more road salt and crud, you will have to modify that technique. A presoak with a pump sprayer will help loosen up the crud and make removal a lot easier.
