Re: Wax after Nanoskin
Well I gave it a try and no issues. Washed truck, used foam gun with nanoskin fine grade mitt with a bucket of soapy water. No marring. Light pressure, i let the mitt do the work. I would guess 95%+ of the contaminates were removed. After that I finished with WGDGS. It took me 5 hours.
The paint was not in that bad of shape. Back in March I did the 3 step process (wash, nanoskin, WG TSR, WG FG, WG DGS). The about 7 weeks ago I buffed with BF One Step. So I knew I didn't have swirls to worry about. I just wanted to get the sealant on the truck with hunting season around the corner. I will try to post pics.

Nice truck! Looks great.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

@OP. Good job.
@DBailey. The paint on that Nissan Altima was extremely contaminated. Just look at the severity of the swirls, and then imagine the level of contaminants... Yea. Lol.

Re: Wax after Nanoskin
Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I was happy with the results although with the baggie test after completion I notice I did miss a couple of spots with the nanoskin on the body line at the front fenders. But just touching by hand its not noticable.
So does the nanoskin remove just the contaminants or will it remove the LSP also?

Yes. It will remove, or at least diminish, most LSPs.
It is a mild form of abrasive.

Re: Wax after Nanoskin
I just saw a video where the dude from Optimum demoed how to use ONR then a clay mitt with Opt Spray Wax as the clay lube to cut out at least 2 steps. It seems to me this would only work for a well maintained car with minimal accumulated dirt.

You are correct. You can't rub containments into the paint and not except marring. Lighter colors are harder to see, but black revels everything.
