Best polish removal towels / technique?

    Hi there,

I just got the new ride, and I'm decontaminating on a number of levels, and I feel like I'm marring the paint while removing polish. I could use some input.

    1. Can someone recommend a really good polish removal microfiber towel?
    2. I am removing gently and adding some clay lube (WG Uber diluted) as needed to remove the polish. What the H am I doing wrong?

I got pretty good with the GG6 and Griots Perfecting Cream on my last car, but it's been a little while. I feel like I'm doing something wrong here.

    Thanks.

    John

You might have very soft paint. Or you’re not working the product long enough to break it down. How much product are you putting on the pad? What pad and machine?

    I hurried. You're probably right.

I'm using the BOSS yellow pad on the GG6. I probably need to work it a little longer.

PS - a thin X on the pad... minus the hole.

The Griot's Boss polishes are non diminishing. Try less passes, even, firm pressure, and lower tool speed.
