    Original Wolfgang Paint Sealant

    Hey Everyone,

It's been awhile since I've posted. I have had the Original Wolfgang Paint Sealant for many, many years, it has been in my garage which is not heated. What kind of shelf life would this normally have? Hot---Cold do anything to a sealed bottle?

    Thank You,

Usually those kind of sealants separate and get all watery, have you shaken it up periodically? If it shakes back together and seems to have some body, I think it will be alright. I have an old bottle of Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection, which is a similar sealant, that I used a couple of years ago and it seemed to work fine although it was a lot thinner than I remember it.

Someone was talking about one of these sealants recently that was very runny even when it was new, perhaps the Blackfire.

The Wolfgang SiO2 Paint Sealant is very runny/thin. It will separate but a few good shakes will mix it all together. The consistency doesn't seem to affect performance or ease of application.
