Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
Yesterday I gave my Golf R another rinseless wash.
Had a bit of rain earlier last week and left some dirty water spots. I think this was the first time in 2+ weeks that it looked like it needed a wash, although most people would probably say it was already clean.
I did a quick rinse with water to get the loose stuff off. I also do a version of the Mike Phillips way of washing ceramic coating, I use 5 microfiber towels (instead of one per panel) and after I use one, I doesn't go back into the wash bucket. I didn't do regular wash because:
1. I didn't feel like it and
2. we're in a bit of a drought, so I figured I'd limit my water usage.
I was planning to take a pic, but about 2/3 way through, my back said F-you, I'm done. Extreme pain about middle of my back. I had to squat and support myself while I finished the last few panels. It was odd that I could move mostly fine, but certain movements caused sharp pain. Took me a while to figure out what movements caused the pain. Feeling significantly better today.

Kendall's gymnastic class means mini detail time
I started off with a quick vac of her floor mat and then mine. The next area was glass cleaning. Next up was a Kenotek Showroom Shine wipedown on the body and wheel faces. Lastly a couple squirts of Adam's leather scent

Hey, at least this one's not broken. I would've liked the previous post, but it didn't seem right when you broke something.

They are great towels, I have been using the small ones for wheels. The larger ones didn't disappoint either.

I use some older random plush microfibers to dry my wheels, I leave the good stuff for the car itself
