Straight undiluted.. As anyone who’s ever dealt with extra grimy seatbelts, trying to get them clean can be 1 of detailings major roadblocks. You can try something like Megs Super Degreaser or APC and scrub with a brush till you’re tired and they won’t come clean... But try some LATA and they’ll come completely clean in about 1 minute. It’s awesome!
And yes, polishing pads. Straight undiluted. I spray pads and let it soak for about 5-10 minutes [away from direct sunlight] then hit them with the hose nozzle 1 by 1 on top of the Grit Guard and they’re instantly clean.

That is optimistic, I was originally gonna write 6-7 months but didn’t want to be too negative so did 5-6. In all seriousness though, this time of year signals a lot of negativity for me and as somebody who mobile details on the side, a large part of my business(almost all) and side money dies just like everything else this time of year.

I keep most of mine on a shelf unit back in the man cave. At least I can look at them. Lol

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
Did take out the winter wheels from storage. It's fortunally that there is acid based wheel cleaner LOL. They cleaned up decent but man is the rims in bad conditions sadly. Not worth it though when you are not able to be maintain them during the winter months usually. Will be putting them on sunday hopefully if the weather allows. Then they comes off early april. Soaked the rims with the last of some of the old version of Gyeon Wet Coat. Wonders if there was any protection that didn't had hardened in the bottle though LOL. But it beaded and sheeted nicely when rinsed it off with the PW. Was looking carefully so the lumbs in it didn't got out and I saw no sign of it so did the 8 winter wheels with it. Will see how long it lasts.
Hopefully I get some help with getting the garage cleaned up and stuff taken out. So I can be polishing the cars in there the next couple of weeks and put some durable protection on the cars. The high humidity and light rain has made it impossible to do the polishing outside. Have been going on for the last 2 months now with bad weather. So will be great to have the option to do it inside of the garage for a change LOL. A little problem when it's not my own garage. But now it's moving forward at least.

Cold weather should not deter you from detailing your vehicle in the winter. I am known as the "crazy guy who washes his car in the winter in shorts". You and Gaby should take a ride up to Massachusetts in the winter. We can work on your vehicle in the afternoon and have oysters and lobster at night. That is my idea of a perfect Saturday.
