Took wifes ride to the coin op. Used the foaming pre soak. Have it a solid layer and then went back around 1 more time quick and then on to the hot soap wash and then a nice rinse. Did better than anticipated. Came home and sprayed BF waterless I had left onto paint and dried it off. Topped it up BF SIO2 spray sealant as I’m trying to use it up.

Not impressed with the BF stuff longevity but it does a nice job heading up and doing its job.

The magic elixir mix I made up hasn’t been applied in 3 or 4 weeks. It consists of 2oz HydrO2, 2oz ech2o, 2oz reload and 26oz water. I’m using this as a detail spray after wash. I just spray onto a towel and massage into the paint. Buff off any residue and I’m left with a super slick glossy shine.

Normally the HydrO2 would be mixed anywhere from 1:6 or 1:10 and used like hydro blue and wetcoat and all the new spray in rinse off. Obviously I’m using it differently and it seems to be working but it’s also winter here so no telling what it will do when weather warms up.

Need to wash the wheels good again and hit them with more hydro blue and top with the mixture. They are lacking compared to the paint but wife still says she’s likes her clean ride so I’m winning

I hooked up my brothers truck.

Sun came out and I ran into a moderate water spot situation. I started using Megs D156 Spray Wax to help dry it, then I switched to Ech2o/Reload mix and it remedied the situation with ease!

Took the WeatherTechs out for a cleaning and since I was down there, LOL. I applied a coat of dpc's own "FrankenDetailer", 4 oz of Armor, 4 oz of distilled water and 2 oz Revive, this combo works great, I mean REALLY great! I used a Roman towel to rub it in and a slightly thicker mf towel to buff, now it sits for the rest of the weekend to cure and stay clean! Hopefully Monday isn't too bad

Yesterday during a downpour I washed the SS in the heated(60*F) garage. Foamed with CarPro Reset letting it dwell as the wheels and tires were cleaned with various brushes and an old MF wash mitt. Rinsed, then refoamed and proceeded to wash the SS using several mitts in one wash bucket method. I dried using **The Magic Stuff as a drying aid as I believe the Chicago winter road chemicals have finally did the McKee’s Paint Coating in. Hit rear door with road film remover then IPA wipedown with no beading though there was still some decent sheeting action going on.

Today with the winds HOWLING I washed the wife’s Beast using the same method as above. Same drying aid, but, her vehicle was stilll showing good beading. Same heated garage too!

Just as I was finishing up my lovely wife announces to me the Bradford pear tree in the back yard had come down. Two hours of manually sawing it is now totally down and we’re both stiff and sore. She’s calling a tree service tomorrow to have it cleaned up.

**The Magic Stuff is 1 oz. ECH2O, 1 oz. Reload and 14 oz. distilled water in a 16 oz. spray bottle.

Finished up 3 of 3 vehicles getting a full interior and exterior clean up.

Touchless wash first
Wolfgang Uber Rinseless/waterless in the garage
Wipedown with ECH20, Reload/Cure and Water. My "blue juice"
Vacuum
Wipe down with Griot's Leather Care
Washed all season floor mats up good

Coating on both mine and the wife's holding strong. Slight bit of contaminants on the sides of hers but I may sneak out and do a light-touch nanomit wipe off of them since it's so clean. Just goes to show even coated cars with 3 layers of good stuff aren't immune and need care. Especially when driven in salt and brine, etc. from Ohio.
