What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

This morning I finished the masking, ran out to pick up the base coat, and got the base coat applied. It's ready for clear but I'm doing this in my driveway and the wind picked up to the point that it's a little too risky to spray the clear. I'll do the clear later this evening or tomorrow morning. It's usually pretty calm in the morning.

Don't use a water spot remover product on your mirrors!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, side mirrors usually aren't glass. I would avoid any glass coatings as well.

I new in my heart not to do it because i even said to the detailing store (will it cause the haze because side mirrors are sensitive) answer from them NO you will be ok!

And that was from a detailer it's a question they have on thier website that you can ask
maybe i should send them the invoice....

I would certainly let these people know, if only to educate them on what the product can potentially do.

I normally would just use an APC or Soap, which does the job well enough but I've found multiple passes are required. The chemistry of the dedicated tire cleaners does work better. But I've only used Gyeon among the dedicated tire cleaners. Coatings said the 303 stuff works great. I'll likely just continue to use the Optimum Power Clean going forward. Gyeon worked well but I wasn't blown away by it either. Better options for the $.

I don't rate Gyeon Tire Cleaner, just did not achieve the results I was expecting.
