Great job on a gorgeous dream car.
Question. Where are you getting Rust Oleum Neverwet Rain Repellant (is that the one?) as Lowes/HD no longer sells it. How long do you find that lasts?

Thanks. Yes, Rust-Oleum Shield H2O Rain Repellent Spray is what it's now called. I just like the old name On windscreens it lasts 2-3 months. On other windows much longer.

It was super easy to apply. Just wait a few seconds after appling and wipe off.
I did not however feel any added slickness to the surface during and after application.
Maybe that comes later after it cures? I have no idea.
Cant wait to try it out as a topper and a stand alone on our own vehicles to i can rate everything its said it can do.

I didn’t notice too much slickness On old CC application. Maybe gloss could be because color? I used it on black.

Seems like you don't see a lot of old 911's running around any more! Happy to hear he's out there using his!
Still have the E30? Those are reaching unicorn status!

Yeah i think the color was the reason for not noticing as much...because i just used it on the buick yesterday which is black and i deffinatly noticed a enhancement in gloss and also a little darkening effect as well

Geeze. 2nd weekend of April and still crappy weekend weather. Cool and mix of off & on rain and snow. Both days. No matter. Have to work Sunday 5 to 9. NO detailing this weekend.

In East TN I awoke to sleet accumulating in the yard, which I had no clue would happen since I didn’t pay attention to the weather. Over night it is supposed to get down to 33 and be up to 70 tomorrow. Some places don’t get any seasons and we get 3 in one day. I plan to do some cleaning tomorrow so hopefully you will be able to soon.

It looked nice so I walked outside with a couple of spray bottles, some towels, and a carpet brush

I’m going to say no. Megs QID does everything CarPro Inner QD does. Inner QD has that awful lemon scent that will trigger allergies. A viewer of my channel posted a statement in regards to this from CarPro.
Also the anti static claim form CarPro is just that. A claim. I noticed zero difference. The anti microbial thing is nice but Adams can achieve the same thing.
I am sticking with Megs.

CanCoat offers no slickness and never has. I don’t know where you heard this from. You are overthinking the application process using it.

Thus far it's been washed, decontaminated and prepped for the Preservation Work I'm doing to it. Paint was nourished with Meg's #7 for 24hrs then wiped down in prep for the polish. As shown, it's my Flex XCE and Orange LC Pads paired with GYEON Primer doing the work. This is a full swirl removal polish but my approach in these vintage "paint preservation" packages is just that. Prepped for a coating to help lock in a preserve the finish. There will be remaining RIDS that I did not recommend be chased down.
Black metal window trim was polished and all seals were treated with BrightMax Rubber conditioner. Black trim was restored with Cquartz Dlux. Wheels have been coated with GYEON Q2 RIM. Windows were all cleaned with 0000 steel wool, stripped with 3D Eraser Gel and sealed up with Rust Oleum's Neverwet for Glass. Last remaining steps will be the paint coating. Stay tuned for more.
Wow! at a loss for words on how impressive this is. Outstanding work ( as usual! )
