Usually for me that's a brand new aerosol can and you blow the spray nozzle/internal straw apart.

30 yrs ago I built this workbench. I unscrewed the tatty work surface, flipped it over, and am now applying varnish for a fresh look. My detailing products will once again sit on an appropriate surface.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I added a fresh set of tires to the ES yesterday. This gives me untouched tire to once again try Optimum tire coating on. I wiped them clean with Gyeon Tire cleaner yesterday and will wipe them daily until I wash the car next time where they'll be scrubbed. I'm thinking about 2 weeks till the coating goes on 1 tire. I had issues with my old tires turning this gold/tan color. I tried the Optimum tire coating on my buddy Hectour's then new tires and it did the same thing....horribleWhat did you do today, in regards to detailing?

So your thinking "why is he trying it still", well, my buddy Josh (TNcoupe) applied it to his tires, same as Josh's and no problems. He applied it to his wife's new MDX...no problems.

If it doesn't work out I'm throwing the bottle away and then using my Feynlab Black Velvet which I had NO issues with on my OEM tires.

Here's the new shoes after a cleaning swipe:

If I remember correctly when I got my DWS06’s it took a long time for them to bloom everything out....let me know if you need more Optimum tire coating I have plenty!

I did “briefly” think out trying it on my wife’s X3 but she has Goodyear run flats that have a trillion ribs (for no ones pleasure) on the sidewalls, I passed and threw some WETS on them.

Thanks for the offer but I've got 2/3rds of the bottle left because I had to stop using it.

Thanks for the heads up on the DWS', it's been over 8 yrs since I've had a set.

How do you know it's still blooming?

Weekly deep cleaning and they were still “dirty” and if I put water based sealant on them it would stay for about a day or two in dry conditions, it would look like there was nothing on them...nothing would stick. I replaced two of them under warranty after about 6 months thinking it was a tire problem (it was a balancing issue) same results with blooming.

Given that you have the +’s (assuming) you may not have the same issue as I did.
