Actually I thought no one was having issues with Bead Maker streaking. It's super easy to use and comes off nicely. I sprayed the panels directly, used a large microfiber applicator to spread it nicely everywhere, then wiped with a towel which removed most of it, flipped the towel and did the final wipe. The slickness was a little noticeable then but later it was much, much slicker.

So I got to work and checked out the car and a simple wash DID infact wash away and level those high spots/streaks. Funny thing is its colder this morning than it was yesterday, clear skies too.

Yes this! Try misting a towel with distilled water before applying the product. You will get a more even application with less product waste. As in the towel doesn’t absorb all the expensive product.

I think you are probably right. I was researching another product that I ordered(well, the mix of Reload and Ech2O) and think I got confused, doh! More on that later when it arrives!

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Sunny but chilly for 2 days so got to get a wash in. Even got to the wheels. Blew dry (leaf blower). Then decided to make some “elixir” but used Clutch instead of reload. Mixed at 1.5 to 2.0 oz Clutch/reload. Read wrong on amount as I was using 16oz bottle. Went on awesome no streaks. Maybe it’s reload that’s streaking in mixture? Anyways gloss was friggin amazing! Of course it rained (Northwest). Anyways Lsp was beading great. What it did improve though was the sheeting. On the way to work beads were just racing off the hood. I was taking bets on which beads would win, place and show. Sorry no pics dry (yesterday)

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I was outside playing with the driver's half of my company car hood, testing some Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax. Pretty cool stuff. Anyway, OLDER neighbor comes over and tells me he and some of the other guys on the street went to breakfast and Coca Cola is the ticket for "cloudy" headlights. Wow! I educated him a little bit and told him to come over next time his headlights needed fixed properly.

After a drive around the block, all of the water flew off the driver's side and the horrible passenger side looked, well, horrible with no beading or sheeting.

Detailed wife's friend's car today. Started at 10AM, finished at 7PM.

    Before...

Some goo stuck to paint, would not come out after wash.

    After some buffing, goo gone.

    After...

Dash board and trim wiped down with 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Took in a brand new leftover 2017 Focus ST for paint, wheel and glass coatings. Flawless paint thankfully. Dark Grey metallic thus it should look pretty sharp all cleaned and dressed.
