Did a RW using "Eve's better half" brand, trying to use it up actually (very good product actually to be honest) This time around I used the grout sponge because it was lightly dusty. That said, I was shocked at how dirty the rinse water was because it had been 4 days since the last wash, guess this is normal for cars outside 24/7, especially with morning dew now.
For the wheels I used Auto-Fanatic foaming wheel cleaner on the tires/rims. Just foamed all 4 of them, rinsed and then applied 303 Touchless Sealant to them, love that stuff[emoji106][emoji106]
I'll apply some Auto-Fanatic "Holeshot" tire dressing tomorrow when I get to work for a little boost[emoji41]

I decided to remove the dirt that I had so much fun applying this week, and something really weird happened. I foamed it with Bowden's Snow Job, which removed most of the mud from the paint, having a good sealant on it really helps. Then a 2 bucket wash with Meg's Gold Class. While hand washing I noticed that the tyres were starting to look strange. Where the mud had been on the tyres they were turning blue, but not on the paint, that would have really freaked me out. After drying the paint I broke out some APC and a really stiff brush, and it started to come off, like an oily coating. It wasn't on the inside of the tyres, whare there was also mud, only on the outside, and only where the mud had been, and a little bit in the tread in some places. I don't use a tyre coating, but they used some after I got an alignment a month ago, I forgot to tell them not to. So I think the tyre coating, combined with the mud, reacted with the foam to create this blue oily gel. Check it out in the pics. Second pic shows one tyre half done. It's now sitting in the garage waiting for a tidy up of the roof, now that I can reach it with the new platform. Attachment 70936Attachment 70937Attachment 70939

Ouch, I’ve got 100 ft.lb. behind my right foot, but weight is around 2200 lb.
I look forward to the day Sizzle Chest details a first gen 1.6 Miata and lists the stats haha
116 hp*
100 ft. Lb.*
0-60 8.86 sec*
1/4 mile 16.78 sec at 82 mph*
Weight 2182 lb
*stats when new, likely less power and less impressive performance.
I need to check Turo one year and rent a Miata for my yearly running of the Tail of the Dragon (and surrounding roads ofcoarse)[emoji120][emoji362][emoji106][emoji848][emoji275]
