Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?
Used Ceriglass for the first time.
Took me a minute to acclimate since it is thicker than Griots fine glass polish.
I was using a Blackfire sample bottle with water in my back pocket to keep everything wet.
I said done, tossed my rayon pad in the citrus bucket and set the water bottle down.
5 seconds later I changed my mind and ran downstairs to grab another rayon pad. I also grabbed the Optimum glass coating and put it in my back pocket.
So I started on the back window of the Outback, keeping it totally saturated with a good amount of Ceriglass on the pad.
After doing both sides back and forth, I was content until cleaning the window. Every time I would do one side the other side looked like it had a film on it.
I decided to take a break and set everything down to regroup.
As I glanced back, I noticed the Optimum glass coating on my polish table and thought how the hell did that get there.
Holy crap!! I had been using the glass coating to wet the window. Talk about self defeating.
I went through a half a bottle of coating. What a DUH moment.

I was in a rush fixing a couple high spots, and I grabbed a bottle of glaze instead of my final polish haha...3 times.

Thanks. I wish I had better lighting to get a more accurate representation of the car's condition. EDIT: I got a better picture. https://i.ibb.co/VMfP2hV/IS300-Gtechniq-2.jpg

Because I'm an amazing brother, I gave my sisters car a well deserved wash this afternoon. I felt sorry for it to be honest, having to endure a Melbourne winter as a daily driver. Spent the better part of 5 hours on it which included a full interior detail (trim, door jams, leather, glass) as well as a another coat of CarPro Reload after a really good tubbing.

Despite not being an SUV type of person, the F-Pace is a pleasure to drive. And a pleasure to detail as well.
