This thing is a pain in my ass. Honestly if I had all the money it would take I’d prolly have Justin at final inspection correct, PPF the entire thing and coat the ever loving crap out of it. There is so vehicle here lol. Then we add these 2 to my fleet and it gets time consuming with a 70+ hr week oilfield job.

I just finished washing and decontaminating my wife’s car. I’ll polish it tomorrow and coat it Sunday. UK3.0 and Gliss v2 on paint, Dlux on trim, McKee’s on glass. Wheels get just Hydro Blue, her wheels are not worth my time to coat.

Polishing got done. First time using CarPro Essence. Loved how easy it was to apply and remove it. It will cure overnight, then a light Eraser wipe tomorrow and lay down the coating.

I've had that Soft99 wheel protection on my watch list on Ebay for a long time but can't quite pull the trigger because of how much I really like Sonax Wheel Shield and the various spray on, hose of protectants I have in my collection, oh well, I'm sure it's good but really liking the Sonax

I had some good luck yesterday when I really needed it... A good friend of mine called me talking about some scratches on his black Harley that occurred from the nylon saddle bags he decided to take off in place of his new seat.. And you know how it can sometimes be when someone calls talking about a “scratch”

Sometimes those isolated scratches can be a bit too much to completely repair and then you’re left to damn near look bad because they were counting on you to be able to fix it.

So of all the products on my shelf, I decided to bring the new Pinnacle Black Label Compound and Polish.



Why them over anything else? Because the Black Label Compound states that it can remove 1000 grit sanding marks and that’s a bold statement. Well that’s enough to earn the trip and sure enough I used it and was able to remove 100% of the scratches by hand. Followed it up with the Black Label Polish and he was super happy with the results. [sorry no pics as I was working on black paint inside a garage with bad lighting]

Detailed this Kia Sorrento. The owner just wanted a little extra gloss so HD Speed was the weapon of choice. Still doesnt disappoint!
