I had to come in here and say...I WAS WRONG! I said that I used 3 ounces of Beadmaker about 30 mins ago when infact, I used FOUR ounces. I filled the empty bottle with a measured 16 ounces Saturday afternoon, 12 ounces left. I will say that I am "heavy handed" with a product like this and DID NOT apply to the windows today, just to be fair and honest, or fair and balanced, or no Fake News, whatever works for yahWhat did you do today, in regards to detailing?

My wife and I brought home three giant file cabinets from her office yesterday. Today before everyone arrived for Easter dinner I rinseless washed them with ONR. I was surprised just how dirty they were. The front faces were fine as they got wiped down frequently but the backs and sides weren’t. After I dried them I wiped them down with some off brand paint sealant then finished them off with Bead Maker. They’re now ready for life in the garage. Tomorrow the shelves come off the walls and the cabinets get installed in their place. Also her Beast will get a bath after I’ve neglected it the past week.

Polished inside the door jambs and tailgate of the Jeep. Now they too shine like brand new. I have only the passenger side left to go. Ill do that next week and then the hood the week after. Lastly I'll do the engine bay.

Since that Beadmaker thread was locked the other day I'd like address one thing with this recent application...the amount. Some people were talking about 8 oz amounts for every application and I mean you can, it's your product but I used about 3 ounces if I had to guess, I could measure it....What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

No reason to post a pic, surely my new car is over exposed as it is already but you see I haven't had a colored car since 2011 when I had a 2010 Honda Fit Sport in Revolution Orange, that color just G L O W E D What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Had my civic polished up with griots correcting cream to remove remaining old coating, and followed up with some CQ TiO2. Put a coat of reload on next day. Turned out pretty good (as expected)Attachment 66377Attachment 66378

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

My dad doesn't wash his car, at all. So I offered to, as his new Mitsubishi Pajero (Montero in the US) was matt after 13.000 km (10.000m) with grime, salt and an assortment of dirt we get from the gravel roads and bad tarmac here in Iceland.

I foamed the car, and washed, put tar remover (white spirit based), and washed. A couple of Sonax fallout remover bottles (300ml) later (and wash) I IPA cleaned it.

Following the pre and hands on cleaning process, using the 2 bucket method, I applied a layer of Soft99 Fussocoat on the car and finally, after 6 hours, I finished up using Soft99's Glaco window coating.

My first post, thanks for the forum and information guys! Regards from Iceland.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Rinseless washed my car with Wolfgang Uber, and followed it up with griots rinseless wash and wax just for fun. That stuff is no joke. Definitely makes a good QD/spray wax/whatever. Might even be easier to use than d156, imo.

Wells, tires, and wheels are still dirty, I know. I’m very busy and I’m just trying to clean it more often while pollen season is going on because that crap seems to stick to my car like nothing else. Poor thing has neglected since I don’t drive it more than once or twice a week now. Gonna have to clay it one of these weekends and maybe polish it.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I took a day off from my main job to run my side detailing company.

Did a 2015 BMW 2 series. Car was only tunnel washed its whole life so far. I washed it, iron remover, clay bar, paint prep, then did a one step on it. Also cleaned up its engine bay.

Then did a maintenance wash on a 2009 Aston Martin Vantage. I paint corrected that car a few months ago.

How bad was the paint from tunnel washing? LOVE that orange and that AM, well, SEXX on wheels, even in cliche' red!
