Re: Best wax/sealant for new car

The best product is always the one you'll use on a regular basis.

Nothing lasts forever.... not even you or I....

    Check out SONAX PNS

SONAX Polymer Net Shield - Closest thing to a coating without being a coating

Here's a class where we used this product....

Most people say the get 6 months out of this product and you can pretty much apply it over anything, paint, plastic, chrome, glass, etc.

As others have said....there is no 'best'. That being said, I'm casting my vote for McKees HiDef Sealant......easy on, easy off, great gloss, slickness and protection

Polish ANgel Master Sealant topped with Rapidwaxx is a very, very nice look. Feels great to the touch as well, kinda draws one in. Definately has that 'Polish Angel' look to it and also easy, mindless application.

Re: Best wax/sealant for new car

I also just got a new car and I am content with the current condition of the paint. I was planning on doing a One Step Sealant but now I am considering using a Glaze and topping it with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. I am hoping that this will get me through the winter and I can pull out the polisher in the summer time. Does anybody have a recommendation for a glaze that works good with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant? I was considering trying Chemical Guys Wet Mirror Finish Ultra Slick Gloss.

I don’t really use glazes per se, but prewax cleaner WG Paintwork Polish Enhancer will clean the surface and provide attractive oils to cover minor swirls. It is recommended, but any other prewax cleaner may also do the trick, assuming WG DGPS plays well with other brands’ oils/fillers.

Is this on a garage queen that never leaves the garage?

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant delivers a deep, wet, liquid shimmer unlike anything you can imagine.

Both very good suggestions of which I use. To be safe, I think I would buy both, use the Blackfire first, use it a couple months and then put the Wolfgang DGPS on. Unless you scratch it up washing it, then start over with Blackfire.

So many choices. I have Collinite 845 on my F150 (winter drive), Duragloss 101 on my Cayman S, WGDGS on the M4, ceramic Gtech EXO on wife’s IS350, and Sonax PNS on daughters SUV. Let’s see which one lasts the longest(of course drivin conditions are different for the truck n SUV. So much fun!
