Prima Hydro Seal
Does anyone remember this product from Prima? It was the precursor to Hydro Max. It had gotten pushed to the back of my detailing cabinet and decided to give it another try. It's on the same principle as other water activated sealants from other manufacturers. You spray onto a damp towel, mist the surface, and then spread. The product hazes then you buff.
I used it today on two vehicles and was amazed at the gloss and slickness. Super quick and easy to use. I know that coatings are the "rage" now in the detailing industry but there are times when many good products get pushed to the side and forgotten.

Re: Prima Hydro Seal
I remember. Funny - I just used some Prima Nero yesterday. Still use Amigo all the time. Also use Hydromax yesterday - on my washer.
I still use a lot of “old” products. Despite all the claims of detailing technology advancing so rapidly - I think a lot is hype TBH. The only real advancement I see is large throw machines. Coatings are meh & the rest of the stuff is business as usual.

Wonder what happened to Prima. Did they go defunct? I liked their products. I still use Banana Gloss when Someone needs a quick fix. Stuff is easy to use and can fill some canyons. I agree with stuff getting pushed to the back. Lots of great products we do that to it seems...

They are still around and I think AG still sells a few of their products (Hydro Max etc). I agree on Banana Gloss. I just used it on a detail in full sun and was a breeze to use. I also used Epic last week and it buffed off with a breeze and was extremely glossy.
