Re: Best method for removing McKee’s Glass Restoring Polish?
The 2 times I have needed the McKees glass polish #1 it did a FANTASTIC job. #2 I just let the residue dry a bit before trying to remove it and used a regular wax removal towel...the Gold Plush from AG/ACC.

If it is a bit difficult use something like Eraser, or a coating prep spray. Or even glass cleaner.

Glad to see that stuff works well. This is going to sound silly, but can't you remove it with the linty towel you used, and then go over it with another (different type) towel to remove the lint? Or just wash the glass to remove the lint since it's outside? I know MF lint in the inside can be a nightmare to remove. For that matter I guess you could just wash the glass to remove the polish, instead of buffing it...then you won't have to worry about contaminating your glass towels with the polish.
Excuse me if that was incoherent I haven't had my coffee yet.

I’ve only used it a time or two.
I don’t remember if I tried to buff it off dry, but I do remember using D114 to remove it.

I guess part of me thinks or wants to see the final undisturbed result from the polish... I feel like I’m diluting or cheapening what would be the proper results if I wipe it down with something else.

I think if you wait a little longer it will haze more and wipe away easier. I used two different towels. First one got most of it but only the second got everything out.

I just cleaned the windows on my beater/DD and used D156 to help wipe away any residue and leave a little protection behind.
