Seat sweat protection
I traded in my '04 350Z for a '17 Honda Civic Type R. The Z had leather seats so I never worried about sweating in them. I could regularly clean and condition them and that was it. Move on to the Type R that has what Honda calls "suede effect" cloth seats. I got into them the other day and I was hot and sweaty and it occurred to me sweating in these seats will eventually leave yummy sweat stains. Are there any products anyone recommends for protecting from sweat? I was looking at either 303 Fabric Guard or Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric.

Good choices you consider. Carpro Fabric you get up to a year of protection. Gyeon Fabric Coat is another that both seems easy to apply. Clean and dry and spray on and walk away. Use a hair dryer to speed up the cure time.

Sure they do
And they do protection to many materials that is not coating. So if they do coatings to different materials if it's possible it's fine in my book. The Carpro Fabric a Youtube detailer from Australia did coat his suede leather like working shoes with it LOL. He had did that before and got a water repellent and still breathing shoes.
