Homemade spray wax
I would like to make my own spray wax (maintenance/inbetween wax) with Klasse sealant or Collinite 845.
How should I go about doing this?
I've watched some YouTube videos on detailer sprays. Would the same procedure apply to spray wax?
Also, is ONR same as QD? I've read disruptions, and it sounds like a QD...
Thanks in advance

Re: Homemade spray wax
ONR can be diluted to be rinseless wash, and clay lube. In the past, the labels also had a dilution for a quick detailer. I forget the ratio, but some online searching can give you results.
I know not about the other things you mentioned.

Re: Homemade spray wax
As far as making your own spray wax goes, why not just get something like Duragloss 951 aquawax? It's an incredible product, and very cost-effective.
And as for ONR, yes. You can mix it up to a QD ratio. 2oz. to a gallon of water if I remember correctly.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

RE: Klasse HGSG (Sealant)
Somebody already beat you to it:
Sonus Acrylic Glanz Spray Sealant, Sonus paint sealant spray, spray paint sealant

Re: Homemade spray wax
Spray waxes like OCW and McKees Fast Wax are spray-on-wipe-off (light buffing). Something like Fuzion Spray Wax is spray-on-buff-off (moderate to heavy buffing). I'm not sure how much buffing Klasse or 845 is going to require but I suspect it may be a bunch. What is your objective? ONR+W is a good compromise because it wipes off easy like a QD without much, if any buffing at all. For me, ease-of-use is most important for maintenance.

Re: Homemade spray wax
Thanks for the replies.
My objective is to use up Klasse sealant and Collinite so I can move onto different products. And having my own spray wax would be nice as I don't want to spend money to buy products...

Re: Homemade spray wax
So would this result in a spray wax?:
ONR (or any other QD) + distiller water + Collinite 845 or Klasse sealant?

If you are well-versed in the Chemistry of
compounds/solutions; have the: chemicals,
equipment, knowhow, $$$, little to no
aversion to risk, etc., I suppose you could
make this at home.
But why bother?
It’s already there for the taking!

Well I studied qed and cmp, so I have the knowledge and tools to make it happen. So what chemicals do I need?
Like I already mentioned, the reason I would like to make my own spray wax is to use up all the products I have. And furthermore I don't want to spend money on existing products.
