Makita po5000c users
HI guys I have a question, what kind of pads are you guys using on your makita po5000c, as always, thank you in advance..

Re: Makita po5000c users
I'll share what I've used....
Any 5.5" foam pad
6 inch Buff and Shine Uro-Cell Pads
6 Inch Buff & Shine Uro-Tec Foam Pads
Lake Country HDO 5.5 Inch Foam Pads
Lake Country 5.5 inch SDO Pads
I don't remember using the Hybrid pads on this tool but they should work just fine.
Lake Country Hybrid Power Finish 5 Inch Foam Pads
The thing about any gear-driven orbital is because it's a direct drive tool it will turn and churn any pad. Thicker pads, especially when it comes to stiffer foam cutting pads, will fell smoother to your hands than thinner pads but these types of tools really don't care what type of pad you put on it.... it's going to spin.

Re: Makita po5000c users
My new po5000c should be here tomorrow. Retiring my trusty old pc7424 to 3" pads only. I also use LC ccs pads so that's what I will continue to use with the makitia. Hope the makitia is as good as all the reviews.

Re: Makita po5000c users
Hi tucko. I got my makitia today and will be using it tomorrow if the rain holds off. I will post a review once I use it. It is a little heavier than the PC but it is a nice looking tool.
