Melted Plastic Bag on Chrome Exhaust?

Ok i have someone with a garbage bag that was hanging out on the exhaust for a few hours before it was noticed. It has melted to the chrome tips. I really don't think it should be scraped off....any ideas??

Acetone on a cloth might help or WD- 40 or some stuff called Goo Gone

I've seen guys use EZ Off on motorcycle pipes to remove melted rubber from shoes. Passengers tend to put their feet on the hot pipes and leave most of their right Nike shoe behind.

Try reheating it with a heatgun and carefully scraping it with a plastic razor. Disclaimer* BE CAREFUL.

If you use a razor blade, use a plastic one so it doesnt scratch the chrome. Also when you remove most of the plastic use 0000 steel wool to finish up.
