Looking for a reasonably priced foam cannon soap...

...that actually cleans and rinses well. Seems my two main options are hyperwash and honeydew, but I don't k ow what else is out there. Mind you, I gulped seeing the $30 per gallon price here at AG, but with the current 20% off promo, well, every bit counts.

I'm leaning towards hyperwash, though with the 16oz bottle of honeydew I have now, I liked the way it foamed and clung.

    Appreciate the quick feedback.

Oh weekend warrior with a 2 car fleet, lol.

remember the dilution you get with these soaps.

Any soap should be sufficient with 2-4oz in a foam cannon, and another 2-4oz in a wash bucket.

That gives you a range of 4 oz to 8 oz per car wash. At 4oz per, you get 32 car washes per gallon. At 8oz per, you get 16 car washes.

So you're paying in the range of $1-2 per car wash depending on your utilization with a $30 gallon of soap.

I personally like CG Mr. Pink as an all-purpose car wash soap. Works well in a foam cannon and in the bucket, smells good, and is a PH neutral shampoo good for maintenance washes. That way I don't need a separate snow foam and bucket shampoo.

Thanks. I get the volume approach, but I have a wildcard, the wifey factor. Lol

Nonetheless, I have tried or even read much about Mr Pink. My washes are generally maintenance washes to clean up dust, pollen, etc., and rarely any heavy or caked on crud.

The wifey factor is quite easily taken care of by presenting a $1 per wash option as opposed to the $15-20 per wash swirl tunnel.

I'm really wondering if the hyperwash foams as much or as well as the CG soaps, like honeydew and Mr Pink....

From what I understand it does not, due to its very high concentration.

I use Meguiar's Hyper-Wash in a cheap gun in my ryobi electric and it works great.

Thanks. Do you use a power washer or a gun attached to a hose?

    Maybe I am ovetthinking this.

I use Megs UFF. I also use Megs x-press spray wax as a drying aid.

In another thread, some posters suggests that CGs wash and gloss was messing with the UFF. So, given the other products I am using, would hyperwash be a better choice than honeydew or Mr Pink?

I would say so. I foamed a large pickup truck with about 2 oz, so that's 64+ washes from one gallon. It's good stuff in my opinion.
