Question Been over 2 years since signing on! Few questions, ole' friends :)

What's up Detail Squad!? Just checked, and the last time I logged in was just after New Year's Day, 2016!! Operated OHIO DETAILING for way over a decade, and LOVED it. Got to travel and enjoy/drive/shine some amazing vehicles.

I know a lot can change over the period of a couple months, LET ALONE YEARS...so I'm writing in real quick to get the help of my bromigos here on AG about some great dependable "GO-TOs" in the industry now (which very well might be the same old go-tos from over the years)!

I'm still well-stocked on all the essentials, always buy by gallon/5-gallon containers (old habits die hard haha) but as far as some items that have said "unavailable" for a long time (TRIX, Meg's APC etc.), please offer your thoughts and help, THANKS EVERYONE

    1. TRIX was always our "go to" over the years to attack heavy contamination, but the large 5-liter bottle isn't available anymore. What is a good replacement product that provides the same results in an economical value-size to rid tar, iron, etc. in one application?
    2. We always used the Optimum APC+ and/or Meg's APC...but recently just maintaining our own vehicles, switched over to regular store-bought cleaners from Sam's Club which seem to work fine. Is there a new solid APC that isn't as much as Optimum's product, but still gets the job done in a big heavy-hitter way by the gallon (or should we stick with the $5 a gallon cleaners from Sam's Club)?

I think that you can still get trix in the 1 gallon bottle. Don't know any other product with these ability to remove iron particals and tar.

When it comes to cost effective d101 is hard to beat. I personally like citrus based APC it's a higher cost but very effective cleaner. Meguiars d107 Citrus Power Clean Plus could be an option to look at. Then you 3D citrus degreaser and Britemax Grime Out degreaser and Sonax Multi Star APC in 10 liter and McKees 37 Hi-intensity APC plus in gallon size. I like Ultima Interior Schampoo Gel on the cars I maintain. To use in a business Ultima ISG might be a to high of a price though. Then I have a couple of APC that is not sold on AGO.
