    Optimum Car Wax

With all the new products including coatings and others that contain graphene or ceramic I was just curious if anyone was still using optimum car wax or is that somewhat obsolete in the detailing world today?

    I still use it.

I keep it on mine and my mom's car through the summer months.

It's also the default protection for any service where I'm not using a cleaner wax (3D Speed, Opti GPS, etc.), or a coating.

Optimum Car Wax is still a very popular item. Very easy to work with and offers great results.

I still use it on my Black truck that sits outside 24/7 that was coated 5+ years ago in an old Optimum Coating. Works perfectly for what I want it to do and is easy to re-apply monthly or bi-monthly.

I bought a gallon of it and treat it like a drying step detail spray. works great for that. also help to make water spots easier to remove.

I always have OCW on hand.

    That, and DG AquaWax.

Just because there are thousands of new products in the last decade or so, it doesn't rend these great products "obsolete".
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.
