    Fix Wrinkled Paint

So I debadged my wife’s car and the heat gun caused a small wrinkle in the paint. Any way to fix this without Repainting the whole tailgate?

You could try to wet sand to reduce and buff/polish after, but honestly that looks like it may be too deep to fully correct without going through the clear.

Not likely. This is one reason why I suggest only using a hair dryer vs heat gun.

    Same here.

Depending on the adhesive/tape I've found a black car often gets hot enough from just sitting in the sun you don't even need a hair dryer...just grab the fishing line and slice it off.

    Yup lesson learned...

I've debadged 3 cars prior. Never had this happen before
