Help with exterior trim on windshield
Hello,
I was applied Mothers trim restorer on the trim that is on the bottom of the windshield below the wipers. Now the trim is worped in two spots and doesn’t sit flush against the windshield. What could have caused this and is there any way to fix it.
Thanks,
lou

Did the trim clip pop out? There should be peg like clips on the cowl that insert into holes on the metal frame underneath the cowl. They should lock. Maybe the tabs on the peg broke off?

Hello,
I just checked, everything is tight. There aren’t any clips near where the plastic is warped. I left some weight on it overnight hoping it may flatten out but it didn’t work.
